I wholeheartedly agree with Maynard. Truly good beer is worth the price. I’d be surprised if frat boy there COULD get drunk on that colored water that gets passed off for brew.

I especially like Maynard’s facial expression in panel 3.
Only good thing i have to say about fratboy’s alcohol choice is hopefully he’s not buying it in bottles (I find too much broken glass which I bicycle around, but have had flat tires which I suspect resulted from pieces of glass that I didn’t see)

So very true–and why I always brought my own beer/queerbeer to my own fraternity’s parties (when I even went–I was a pretty non-traditional member, as far as not fitting the stereotype). It took me a bit to notice that “hey, that’s the soap guy from way back when”, but that’s awesome you were able to bring a character back. Will there be another run-in or something, I wonder? :3

I totally agree with Walt.
At the end of the Magic Soap arc, his “Lifehouse” t-shirt made me think he’d gone and found Jesus or something.
Guess he had a relapse.

I actually see it from the soap guy’s prespective. I have spent way too much trying to find good beer, and the more expensive it got the more it tasted like it came from an enema. If I had known in the beginning that beer doesn’t taste better the more I pay for it , I’d go for his plan and get whatever is cheapest and hold my nose as I drank. XD

While I agree with the Foxpaws’ idea (and since I don’t like alcohol, I should really follow it), I would chose the alternative route of not drinking beer. In fact, I have chosen that route. Why drink if you don’t enjoy it? Chose something else, or just don’t drink. Alter your consciousness some other way.
