So, what have I been doing lately? I attended Further Confusion in San Jose, and it was amazing. Easily one of the best times I’ve had in my life, as I got to see a ton of friends I don’t see often enough.

After the convention, I picked up a terrible illness that lots of other people seemed to get too. I had to plan a bachelor party for a friend, so being sick was a little irritating. We managed to have fun though, as we went paintballing and barhopping later on.

A week after that was the wedding, and it was great. It’s so refreshing not to hear the standard wedding march song — instead the midsection of Gustav Holst’s Jupiter was used. later that night, I had to give a toast as one of two best mans. I’m not good at public speaking, but I did alright.

So now, everything seems to have calmed down a bit. My back sort of flared up again, but it’s getting better overall. I think.

On a completely random note, I recently got into watching hockey. The Blackhawks rocked Tampa Bay yesterday in an amazing 3rd period.
