Severed Ties-2008-09-09
I went to a kickball game over the weekend. Turns out if you kick it wrong, it really freakin’ hurts. I also have this bizarre urge to play soccer. It must have something to do with watching Shaolin Soccer again recently.

Hmm. Seems like *someone* has a few regrets.
Call her, you dork!

I really feel for Evan, I had a similar situation with my last girlfriend before I accepted my homosexuality. After all these “I love you’s” I completely ignored and avoided her as I tried to sort my feelings out. I feel like a heel for doing it.

I feel bad for Evan and Cynthia. >: Maybe He tryed to be skinny to get her to like him and once she did he didn’t want it. Hmmmmm…..
Plus guilty flashbacks are awesome D:

Oh-oh, guy tears. Bloody unbidden thoughts in moments of solitude; aren’t dreams for resolving this sort of messy stuff? Perhaps, if he can admit his mistake(s) to Cynthia, Evan will be able to move the emotional response from grief to only chronic embarrassment.

Hmm…So that’s the whole story of them in the band room. He lied, only to break her heart and regret it later. Guilt is a funny thing, you never expect it.
Also. “Shaolin Soccer” was a good movie too. Love his films.

He needs to deal with his emotional turmoil and other problems. He needs to figure himself out and determine who and what he is, before he can fix things.
Otherwise, things are gonna continue to head downhill.

I don’t know, as much as I love Shaolin Soccer, I think it’s a bit of bad representative for the game of soccer. Kids every where might see that movie and start kicking flaming soccer balls a full field away. Then schools will get wrecked, other players will get hurt. Parents will complain, field maintenance will get costly to repair, and they’ll have to eliminate the game from schools across the nation.
