All I can say is, I’m sorry for my absence. But the comic has returned finally. Much has happened and now I have more material to draw upon, so hopefully this will be good in the long run.To those of you that still follow it, thanks.

Congrats to the Chicago Blackhawks on winning the Stanley Cup. Ha ha, now I won’t be distracted by watching hockey games every other day.

So here we are. I’ve been kinda gone lately as lots of things have been changing in my life, and this comic has fallen behind other things that have a higher priority. My social life has been growing and my interests have been changing gradually. I haven’t even been checking the email or the comments lately, so I need to catch up on that. If anyone still follows this comic, I thank you for that. I’ve come to realize certain things in the passing months and finishing this comic is something that I have to do. Not just on principle or anything, but it’s a feeling I have. Evan’s final year in school is a story that I can’t leave hanging. It’s much too personal to leave it unfinished.

Sorry for the delay, a visitor popped in last night. I also had to go to my parents house and fix their computer. Anyway, the blood is all gone now. Precious blood. It must stay inside of me.

Hockey season is starting up again, eh? Hawks play the Capitals this weekend. Woo!

I’ve had a lot of stuff going on in recent months and haven’t had enough time to really work on this comic like I’d like to. But today I came to a realization and felt far more inspired to draw this cartoon than I have in the past several weeks. I guess my allergies getting a little better has something to do with it as well, since I can concentrate a little better now. Anyone that knows me personally can attest to how brutal my allergies have been this season, which really makes it hard to get anything done. Hopefully soon I can sleep without jamming tissue in my nose.

In other news, I got my Brent Seabrook away jersey/sweater back from the shop, so now I’m good to go once hockey season starts up again.

I was up in WI this past weekend partying with some friends. They just moved into a new house and had a house warming party. Turns out that the game Rock Band is really hard. I played piano for several years and play the drums as well, so trying to play this game proved to be difficult. I tried to play along to the song, which didn’t really match up to what was going on in the game. The songs I didn’t know were actually easier in a way.

I devised a way to play my game cube while using the elliptical machine. Last night, I burned over 1000 calories while playing Metroid Prime. Fun times.

I hate allergies by the way.

This last weekend was good. Got to hang out with some friends up in WI. It was good to see you all again. Good god it was hot though.

In other news, how about the Blackhawks? After an amazing season, the month of July has been nothing but a tragic circus, essentially tearing down any good this organization has rebuilt in recent years. Hopefully the nonsense will be forgotten once the season starts. Drop the puck already.

I had a great weekend by the way and got to met up with some friends, as well as make some new ones.

Anthrocon was a total blast. I may not be at another con for a while though, most likely Further Confusion in San Jose.

This page went way smoother than the last few, so hopefully this is the end of feeling burned out. I’ve been drawing this comic for so long now that it was getting a bit draining.

Holy crap I’ve been busy. Sorry for the long period of no updates, but I moved and am now settled in for the most part. Now I can get back to updating again.

A lot of stuff has been going on since I last posted. In my free time, I’ve been spending more time outside in the nice weather. Also, I’ve been sucked into the world of playoff hockey. My Blackhawks are in trouble right now, but it’s not over till it’s over. They prevailed over the Flames and Canucks, but the Red Wings are a completely different challenge, and they’re tough to beat. But really, no one thought they would even get this far — what a great season it’s been for them. Now lets go Hawks!
